A confecção é o nosso ponto forte que aliado a estratégias de planeamento de métodos de trabalho, acompanhados com maquinaria de ponta das diferentes fases de produção, permite ao cliente usufruir de um serviço completo.

As vantagens são o facto do cliente a qualquer momento poder consultar a evolução do seu pedido, o facto de ser executado na mesma empresa elimina todos os custos e moras de transporte que peças teriam em cada fase e mais importante é tudo ser controlado com o mesmo critério, garantindo assim qualidade.

Our History
Lima & Company SA was founded in 1986 and presents itself in the market as a vertical textile company for the production and the manufacturing of knitted clothing. The production sectors range from weaving, dyeing, automatic cutting, sewing, embroidery, packaging to the production of labels and fancy ribbons.
The company also has a fashion design office responsible for creating its own collection and provides assistance to any customer who so desires it. Coupled with a workforce with a high level of know-how, the company meets all the conditions required to perform the orders placed with its own internal resources, with quality and efficiency. This allows customers not only easy access to a set of techniques and distinct resources, indispensable in such a competitive market, but also the knowledge and control of the entire production process. Production

With an average production capacity of 3000 pieces days, the preparation is very well equipped with all types of usual sewing machines and still we have machines to aid certain work to ensure uniformity in the production process. We strive for organization created by the different hierarchy among employees in order to have an efficient control of all production at various stages.

Weaving

Assisted and monitored permanently by specialized technicians, the company has circular knitting machines of various gauges and diameters, plain and striped knitted fabrics, flat knitting machines, jacquard among others, thereby enabling a diverse provision of quality.

The quality of the knitted fabrics manufactured is ensured by a strict internal quality control and the synergies between the various sectors of the company thus allowing uniformity in different types of knitted fabrics.

Dyeing/Finishing

The Lima & Company SA internally performs the dyeing and finishing of all its knitting, yarn and dyeing in the piece. The colour development process and its respective dyeing in several fibres is done in the chemical laboratory. The company is equipped with knit and yarn dyeing machines, Jets and autoclaves, with cutting-edge technology in which the quality-cost environment trident is one of the key factors for its acquisition. In the finishing section the company is equipped with stenters, carding, laminating, calendering and sanforizing machines that enable us to perform all types of finishing on our premises.

The quality control is performed internally, namely fastness to washing, light, water, friction, dimensional stability and weight.
We have the daily capacity of dyeing 7000 kg of knitted fabrics and 2000 kg of yarn.

Cutting

Equipped with two automatic cutting tables run by a computer of the recognized and prestigious brand Lectra.

Advantages:
Greater efficiency in the pieces cut per hour.
Cutting accuracy even in delicate fabrics.
Better utilization of the raw material.
Uniformity guaranteed in all pieces.

Production

With an average production capacity of 3000pieces a day, the sewing department is well equipped with all types of sewing machines and we also have machines to aid certain types of work in order to ensure uniformity in the production process. We strive for the organization created by the different hierarchy among employees in order to have an efficient control of the whole production at the various stages.

Embroidery

With the constant monitoring of technical expertise, we are able to make any embroidery with high quality, including laser cutting.

Packing/Shipping

After the finished product and after passing quality control we are equipped to fold, label, pack and ship any order placed.
